The value of data
-
Data is the most valuable asset for many companies and organisations. Its analysis and processing facilitates:
- Decision-making.
- The generation of new products and services.
- The personalisation of existing offerings.
The importance of data has popularised the concept of the Data Economy, a development model born out of the growing volume of data we generate and the need to exchange this data with other organisations.
-
Within this framework, Gaia-X is one of the main European initiatives that is developing governance, organisational and technical mechanisms to consolidate a digital market where the member countries of the European Union comply with the same rules of the game. And among these mechanisms is the configuration of data spaces.
Data spaces are secure and trusted environments in which different participants can share data and information with full guarantees for all users. In this way, participants in a data space can exploit the full potential of the data.
Committed to Gaia-X

European commitment
Through the IONOS Group, Arsys is a member of Gaia-X European Association for Data and Cloud AISBL, an association that brings together European companies and organisations from different fields that are joining forces to develop the infrastructures of the future, which guarantee the reliable and secure exchange of data.
Arsys participates in the working groups responsible for the development of a Trust Framework to guarantee the governance, interoperability and control of the participants in the Gaia-X Ecosystem. We also collaborate with the project's Open Source Community in the implementation and testing of the software components that support the functionality of Gaia-X and the interconnection of Internet access service providers and cloud services.

Development in Spain
In Spain, Arsys is a member of the national hub, the Gaia-X Spain Association, which acts as a contact point for the European project in each country and works on the definition of use cases and business value for the creation of data spaces that follow the guidelines established by Gaia-X.
Within the activities of the national hub, Arsys contributes mainly to the Enabling Technologies, Training and Integration group with IDSA (International Data Spaces Association), as well as participating in the sectoral working groups of Tourism, Mobility, Industry and Agri-Food.
GXDCH node
Within the framework of our participation in Gaia-X, Arsys operates a node of the GXDCH (Gaia-X Digital Clearing House). This validation node runs the software components that, following the latest and most updated specifications and rules of the Trust Framework, allow, among other services, to generate and verify the credentials that identify the participants in the data space and the services it contemplates.
In order to achieve maximum security and resilience, a priority in Gaia-X, this node operates in federation with those deployed in different countries. This is called the GXDCH network, which promotes decentralisation and fosters diversity and interoperability, two elements that enable the creation and evolution of data space markets and ecosystems based on Gaia-X specifications, standards and functionalities. In this way, the different participants are offered the necessary means to contribute to the development of the Data Economy, always in accordance with European values of transparency, sovereignty, trust and security.
We help you to grow in the data spaces.
Our experience within Gaia-X, our permanent collaboration with other sector associations, such as IDSA or the European FIWARE platform, and our proven track record as IT infrastructure providers, with more than 25 years in the sector, make us the best advisor for companies, of any size and sector, to develop their data space.
Our solutions cover both the IT infrastructure components needed to support the operation of a data space and the technical support for its deployment and the services that guarantee compatibility and compliance with the principles and requirements defined through initiatives such as Gaia-X.
